      That doesn't sound good

I've been looking at proper plumbed in fire extinguisher system... think its a good investment.

Cant be to carefull, I keep a fire extinguisher in mine and a 5L coolent bottle filled with water, which can be used for many tasks as its just clean water. They both sit neatly between the spare wheel and nearside tailight aputure.

This is what scared me into realising no car should be with out one ( scroll down for pics)

The guy spent 5 years building it and it was just on the road a few days and ^^^^^^^^ happened. It was absolutly immaculate, he rebuilt it very qyuicky again, top marks for effort, I would of shot myself

Good idea that Jim - like in cars but without the button on the scuttle panel i presume
I bet as long as you spent some time thinking about routing and directing the pipework under the bonnet, you'd hardly even notice it. Just have to make sure you didnt end up inadvertanly pulling the lever by mistake with the pin out

Mate of mine caught fire, I was driving behind and spotted the sparks under the car. He pulled over and by the time I got to the front of his car the engine bay had been covered with a fire extinguisher. Turns out the AA did a bodge on the starter motor wire to get him home and he never bothered fixing it, so it wore away and caught fire Extinguisher put it out even with the live still touching the chassis

Gonna buy a new one from Halfords tonight for me Esc Cos, Skoda already has one
