Official number of Escort Cosworths left

After my thread regarding how many were actually left i took the number that was posted on one of the reply's and made a phone call today, a gentlemen answered the telephone
and i explained that i was a owner and registered on this forum that is dedicated to Escort Rs Cosworth ownership, and kindly asked him if he could give me some official figures of the amount of vehicles left.

Within a few hours i had a call back and was given the following information:

797 Licenced

398 Sorn

So in total 1195 vehicles that are registered with department of transport.

Im unsure if i can get a more detailed description regarding colours etc.

So it looks like we are all very lucky to have a few of fords most best produced car.

great info was that the number that cosmo posted in his post, if it is they should be able to break it down by colour again as that is the number I used, but that is they will help out but sounds as if they might, they emailed me a spreadsheet last time
