Hi,
200 block Cossie engine in my Saph.
i’ve found the Jack Shaft, Aux Pulley is noisy when the engine is left for 1 week or more without starting.
Almost like a lack of lubrication and only does this from cold, lasts about 2/3mins during warm up then noise disappears - any ideas.?
I sprayed a bit WD40 on Aux pulley and found the noise disappears. The bottom end was recently rebuilt (approx. 500miles now). and I also fitted a New Cambelt and tensioner, could the cambelt be too tight..?
