  • General Question - tyre size on rondells

Hi all just brought a set on 18" rondells for my cossy, but with no tyres. what size would you recommend?

I have been looking at 225/40/18 and 235/40/18

Are these the correct sizes? if so which one would be best to use?

    Cheers Dan

Personally, I would use 245/35 x 18 on a 8½" rim. However, this would depend on what suspension you were running for clearance, so you may have to modify the spring cups....

There are plenty of posts on here which show what needs doing .

Nordschleife, there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right .

I run 225/40R18 on my Engels that are 8.5"x18" ,I've had to adjust the spring cups on my Koni's as Mike has mentioned.
