Big turbo coolant temp sensor and water temp sender

I have a new set of the above and was going to fit them this weekend, after reading on here it seems like it isn't going to be the easiest thing to do, I don't have any issues with the current ones so do I just wait until I do or fit them to stop any potential issues?
