New plan for my car?

As most of the usual suspects know I was off to Oz at the end of this year and after debating taking the car with me but being put off by the massive costs I had decided to sell.
That all changed today when we were told that our Visa application had gone from top priority to near the bottom-just like that.
Apparently the minister for migration has decided it doesn't matter if you are sponsored (as we are), it doesn't matter that we have just paid out $3k for the Visa to go through either, they will keep the money until they see fit- which according to the Immigration website is the end of 2012
Soooo I am now not selling the car for a while at least, just have to decide if I moth ball it until 2012 or use it next year (a bit) or do I sell and get something silly for a few years
Lotus Carlton, Series 1 Exige, M3 CSL etc
So will probably see most of you again next year at the shows and you never know you may get to see the old girl again

A lotus carlton would be an amazing car to put on the had list! You probably wouldent loose a penny on it and what fun it would be bet insurance would be difficult though, they got some name for them selfs

Same as here though!! With my council tax ive overpaid this years council tax bill thinking i was paying off arrears from last year when i was unemployed but the morons run the accounts separate and cant transfer the money to the other account which is bollocks!! Its just so they can take money off me from my arrears and then keep the money ive overpaid until im due council tax in 3 years when i finish uni or move house when they will refund. almost robbery.

Use it until you cant then mothball it if you want to have a cossie when you come back. Good cars are hard to find.

i'd like an exige myself,but i love the carlton.downside is they are fooking impossible to get bits for.my mate has the original press car and its been off the road two years while he sources bit for the clutch etc
