    Remanufacture the front spoilers

Been looking at the FF pics as I couldn't attend and.......

Honestly, there are people who INSIST on having original WOBBLY, WAVY, DISTORTED front spoilers on their cars, and imo of course, totally RUIN the cars.

I couldn't put up with one on my car, and it's nowhere near a bufty car. Mines fibreglass () BUT lovely and straight

I know the RSOC started this and maybe got a mold done but it wasn't good enough or something??
    Cheers, Kev.

im sure the RSOC looked into this & had a few made up but the quality was shite

its the tooling so we were always led to believe ..it would be 9k to get some sort of moulds made & thats be fore they sell any

did you use orig fitting kit paul with the huge washers and rubber washers? if so it should last a fair while as itll be better supported, they tend to be worse when they are extended or folk use little washers instead

I also put a threaded bar with a few nuts through the 3rd hole of the middle of the splitter going up to the lower spoiler mounting hole, it needs a bit of perfecting but supports it all a lot better

Take t bit of weight off the lower spoiler, but it does require the splitter to be on the second fixing holes at the front but at the sides mine fits nicely on the first bolt hole

I will post up some pics of my prototype as it's now fitted to the bumper at last, I still haven't used it on the car so can't speak of it's longevity in the stone chip department

Why not buy a carbon one, and spray it? - nice and strong

That is what i'm planning for my busted one I cant feel the crack round the back so i think there is still some strength there so will file down the raised damaged area until i've got an identation that i can fill and smooth off then satin black the whole thing May not work but i've got nothing to lose Got a new one on the way to get me out of trouble while this is being done and then i can flog the new one as mint if my plan works
