dan.the car is going nowhere bud.but im umming and arrgghhing if i try and break the engine up and buy an already done one at 500bhp area or refresh mine and add bits.

i kind of want to make mine more impressive i think but cant afford loads so im trying to figure wheather i keep round 430-450 or go up via another engine or not.

i do want a rear beam too and may change my brakes to ap too.again not sure what mine are worth.











part of me wants to track it but most of me doesnt.

It depends what's wrong with yours really doesn't it, as to whether or not you'll have good parts to sell, if it's ok and Martin can fix the problem then maybe a change of turbo, inlet, injectors and you'd see 500hp if the engine is ok

Good idea on brakes and beam too, mine is getting both ASAP

you can get 1200-1500 for a standard motor

so the bits might not get you as much as selling it as a full motor

dave,dont know yet.waiting to talk to mart.will do tomorrow now as he prob aint there now.and im off work in the morning
nothing huge that its not running but im toying with options of the refresh(rings,bearings,valves reseated,hopefully no pistons etc)and getting one from a smashed car or something that is already at the power. although that could be buying into trouble again.

like i say im just going over allsorts in my mind while its not here trouble is the car took all my budget to buy so need to go the cheapest route
