    question for the resto boys...... what have you used to replace your old stuff.
    seen pics somewhere of some silver looking stuff but cant remember who's thread it was.

    i've found this, any good??? could it be cut from a template?

    Probably mine as I did replace it with silver heat proof stuff, however I have since changed it again as wanted the standard black felt look again

      Jim, its not the same, but i spent a whole weekend making a bulkhead sound pad for that 4x4 saph is used to have. I used that heat resistant sound padding that you can get from Demon Tweeks and the like, its a bit like tin foil on one side with a kind of matt grey backing to it. I sealed the edges with heat resistant tape. I'll see if i can dig a pic out, did the job nicely.
