Hi does anyone have any info on n15cos a white escort cosworth

if its the one on ebay then it's been discussed in your wanted thread.

Obviously only my opinion from the pictures but look at the state of the engine bay for starters (looks like the top hose is codged together from 2 hoses, rust everywhere, cut heatshield and some dodgy battery cover), then there's the paint damage, and what looks like rust on the passenger front wing at the bottom and around the arch itself. Fog lamps are all faded etc

Could be a good project but not at 20k.

If that is a genuine 45k then it hasn't been well looked after.

It's obviously possible it's genuine mileage, can't quite see why the rear spoiler has gone like that though, and as others have said it's not be well stored. You can see green mould bits on it too so it's obviously lived outside a lot, which is never good for a car of this age.

          There's no way that's a 20k car,

As said above, looks more like it's done 145k. Looks like he's using and old rubber foot mat as a battery cover

I noticed that, that's exactly what it is, done on the cheap I think, and it needs a new heatshield pdq.

Wrong battery and its probably touching the bonnet and sparking.

After spending quite a bit of cash tidying mine up which wasn't bad, I'd say there's a fair amount to spend sorting that out. It's not a 20k car, just my opinion

This is now advertised at 25k

                      I didn't realise that cleaning a car added 5k

no chance. I like the way that he only has service history from 25k onwards...

                        145k miles more like it.
