Right gents, I need a new battery and seeing flat post ones aren't available anymore I need to go round, ford want £80 for a battery, is this the way to go or are there better options out there??
I'd like a new battery cover aswell if anyone can point me in the right direction they are the same as other cars I believe?.

sorry, loads of questions in one!

Charging my battery up after it was flat at Ford Fair using a float charger, I noticed a noise coming from it, bubbling, and it was very hot!
I removed from the car & left it standing on its own, an hour later its still bubbling and still hot!
think its dead?

I got the top one in the link, hankook one. It arrived about 24 hours after I ordered it.
It's looks pretty much like you see in the picture mate and yes the square posts were fine
