  • Fuel lines

    Guys,

Ive recently bought new re-manufactured fuel lines (which i need to get my finger out and arrange pickup)

i want to have -6 ends brazed on to these so the rest can be done in aero on the fuel system, can anyone recommend someone who can do this service.

I dont like seeing aero lines ran down the floor pan hence why im going down this route

    Cheers Rob

Hi mate just out of curiosity, where did you get the remanufactured lines from, and how much were they?
I'm in process of doing underbody resto and will need some new ones soon.

I bought them off a guy on here, think there is a guy on ebay that makes them also, I got them for a good price other than that I would have made my own

Instead of brazing a fitting on the end how about a short piece of drilled hexagonal metal either stainless or aluminium with the correct threads tapped in each end, the -6 (9/16 unf) male fitting sealed with a crush washer, the fuel pipe end maybe the same or at bottom of tapped hole (metric ?) as standard.

                    Steve,

I think i'm with you on that but i'm also sure that the lines are same as original steel on outside and copper internally, I just thought fittings brazed/welded would be the easiest and less chance of leakage

You could use cliplock to AN adapters.
                      Cheers

No links sorry. I just know they are made by a couple AN hose manufactuers to adapt from ford oem lines to AN.

A google search for ford push lock AN adapters, returns plenty hits.
