Advice on Monte Carlo Edition Please!

I'm looking at a Monte Carlo edition, which is currently advertised at Derby Trade Cars with only 23k. However, I've just HPI'd it and it comes back as having had a colour change from Blue at the date of registration. As I'm totally new to Cossies, could anyone please advise if they have any knowledge of this car? The registration number is M341VRB. Thanks in advance

Others may correct me, but that's been for sale for a while.

I'm not sure if the Monte cars shells were taken from general production then painted, someone on here will be able to confirm though.

They only came in Mallard green, Ash black or jewel violet I thought. Maybe the info from HPI is incorrect.

HPI are a waste of time to be honest, they will take any data they get from insurance enquiries to guide mileages on V5s.
HPI are not the be and end all on history checks

I wouldn't worry about the HPI, its a monte and its JV so there's no chance it's been blue, I've also heard in the past that they have been accidently put down as blue, i know Ginge on here said something about his had same mistake iirc

Yeah that's true they put his down as blue! As Andy said being a monte and in jewel violet I wouldn't worry about it. Check all the no's etc should be fine.

Was there not rust on arches and aftermarket air con fitted ?
Could be made a really nice car though but at that sort of cash no way .
Agree price advertised on here is reasonable ,sold at 23700 would expect garage to mark it up but not to that extent
