Who's the company to use to send big stuff abroad?

I want to send a gearbox on a pallet to Spain, I've tried P2Go and Paisley Freight but they both say it's either too big or too heavy

Wood pallets are more trouble than there worth because some countries require certified timber pallets. Basically made of heat treated timber by a licensee.

I can recommend Air Action tina@airaction-northampton.co.uk They have shipped palletised and loose items for me.

I got a MT75 from the UK to AU with parcel2go. plastic & cardboard wrapped. Make sure you put in postcodes for the quote, as that can make a big difference to cost and maximum dimensions they accept.
      Cheers

I got a lot of stuff sent over to OZ last year engine and box and lots more besides i used a company that quoted me a part container load, it seemed cheep at first but when it arrived that's when the costs added up. but all in all cheaper than buying the stuff here in OZ, some of it i could not get here either. I still have more stuff to come 4X4 MT75 box and other small stuff so will keep an eye on this thread.

I used them to ship wheels to Sweden and they were superb. Not all that expensive either

Sea freight into Oz, is a minefield. All the local unloading costs are the norm, regardless of what is paid for the international transfer portion.

Some local mobs even try telling you, they haveto do the customs entry for you.
Quarantine get up my nose. They send a questionaire, is it dirty, been near a farm, blah blah. Answers are all no it is brand new, spotless, send them pics of it going into packaging. They waste a couple days, look at it, charge a fee, freight unloaders charge an extra fee to hold their hands, and then go away.
                  Cheers

I totally agree, that's why (everything) here is OZ is extremely over priced, not just car related. dont
