  • Aftermarket Alarm Recommendations

    Hi guys,

I'm thinking on fitting a new alarm to my cossie. I'm not clued up on them nowadays. Can anyone recommend a decent model / version to go for, preferably one with a tracker, but not essential.

    Cheers,

    Rich

Toad Ai606 - fit and forget simple.

A tracker will be a separate product but I install the scorpion track products. They are a good tracker.

More info on both products here: www.scorpionauto.com

From an installers point of view they always seem to have issues and seem to be unreliable.

Don't fit a fukin Clifford ..... If the wind blows it'll go off, if u fart near it, it'll go off, if it rains it'll go off, if u don't like your neighbours or u don't like to have uninterrupted sleep buy a Clifford
Btw toad was good on my evo, did the job
My mate fits Gemini alarms, has done for years an years an only one had a call back issue in all those years...

Clifford used to be a good product, but wot I heard was manufacturing costs were slashed and main pcbs were made in China.... Reliability suffered, false alarms etc... and that's wot killed cliffy
