If all is well then i will sell them, if there no good i will machine them into little ornaments.

Im going to Justins tomorrow to fit his and hopefully we can get a good few miles done in the car, justin i hope you have gloves ready for me lol.

      • Look lovely and fresh, but thought there was too much hoo ha about the top plate being a big issue, so why still use it?

Looking at that pic, the top plate looks like it will add strength ? I'm not up to date with these supra diff conversions but just looking at that whole setup there it looks strong as hell?

That's what I meant, I was going by what MT Mark was suggesting Justin to do and not use the top plate, or was it Justin who decided not to use it?

The top plate is an original MK kit part, stop the diff from twisting and aids in diff support. And it certainly does help with fitting by yourself on the floor without a ramp, because its a bugger to fit

At what point did i suggest it??

Justins a big boy and can make his own decisions for himself.

Only just got back after a long day, what a bitch they are to fit im glad i dont use a Supra Diff ill stick to the KA

I would also like to say that Mark Shead has done a very good job on mapping the car, its the first time i have been in a car with 1 of these Turbos on and i was very impressed.

That's what I was asking, presuming you suggested it since you were making the cover?? Don't get so touchy, only a question.

His car is very nice, especially on those wheels, glad Justin didn't sell them!

                            • Mark came over today to fit my diff cover and to test it to see how things went.
After we got it fitted we took it out on the road and did quite a few miles, done some high speeds, launches etc, frightened mark along the way.

We Put it back on my ramp to check and all is perfect, diff was nice and warm when we got back so if the fin's are a cooler it's doing its job, no oil out of the breather pipe at all so very happy with it.

                              • I think most people would be slightly concerned when doing the speeds we were and your too busy looking in your mirror and whinging about your bold patch that's coming
