how to fit escos quater panels leepu style

i removed two quater panels from a mk5 rs 2000 this week ,and to say they were bodged on would be a understatement
some guy went to some trouble back in the day to fit 2 new quaters which werent cheap i would imagine.
the thing is you couldnt tell untill i removed the rear doorcards ,and then it was revealed

materials used

paper
expanding foam
silicone
buckets of underseal

it was spot welded in places ,but on one side the bottom of the panel was stuck to the inner cill with silicone








so folks beware what your buying lol

deathtrap mate the quater would have folded like a piece of paper

Lol, at least you have a pair I often wonder how many were scrapped with parts like this on

they were the only parts on the car any good hughy and will be up for sale once they have been cleaned up
