  • Ford Mustang

I have recently been reading the reviews and watching clips on you tube of the 2015 uk ford mustang, I have to say it looks and sounds the part, I have always liked these but lhd has put me off a bit, but now in rhd , they dont come out while summer but I am seriously thinking of getting one, they do 2 versions, one is a 2.3 ecoboost twin turbo with 320 bhp , the other is a 5.0 ltr v8, with 420 bhp, tbh the performance isnt much difference between the 2, with the weight diffrence etc, the prices havent been announced but is going to be less than 30k , probably about same price as the new frs. What do you think guys..

I think if you're gonna have a Mustang it should really be a V8!

Cheers for your thoughts , I was thinking about the v8, but having watched the clips with the 2.3 version , I am not to sure ,it sounds really well , think the v8 is going to be 4k more, also running costs will be more, but the v8 sounds fantastic, plenty of colors to chose from, think I would go for the bright red, a bit of time to think anyway , ford dealers are not taking deposits yet.

Will the 5.0 be better equipped?

I'm not clued up on them, but I can imagine the eco boost been the more popular of the two

I think they both are the same spec, only diffrence the v8 will have 6 pot brembo brakes and eco boost will have 4 pot. Ford have upgraded the spec for the uk and its looks a good package.

Went and looked at one of these the other night after work... I must say I was impressed, no test drive yet but the overall look and feel both inside and out was really nice. I have owned several Mustangs thoughout my adult life including a couple of 2.3 turbos (SVO), and as good as the Eco-Boost is I would probably still get the 5.0, as others have said the V8 is the heart of a Mustang.

Someone was trying to convince me to get a lease on diesel Maserati Quattroporte the other day, great deal but who wants a diesel Maserati?

My cousin's been mythering me about this too, he's going to be buy one for sure but can't decide which engine. No point having a Mustang without it having the true heart of a Mustang. It's like having an Escort Cosworth shell, but putting a 1.4 CVH in it It'll be his second car, so fuel consumption and overall costs won't be as much of an issue, regardless of fuel prices coming down rapidly soon.
