  • Thanks SCS

Just picked up the car today from SCS, Harvey & Jim have done a great job again installing the new 6 degree beam. And they have completed all the extra work installing the new Oplliger box, supra rear diff and uprated front diff and hydraulic clutch conversion. So thanks guys and I will you soon for the engine upgrade.

It is like a new car now, The gearbox has made a big difference, and the handling has improved with the new beam.

It has currently got about 360, but my plan is to go to 500 for next year.

Which oppliger box did you go for and how do you find the gearchange? I fitted a quick shift to my standard box which combined with an engine that doesn't do much til 4000rpm I find horrible.

It is standard heli cut gear ratio, with drop down gears, and Oplliger gear change. I'm funded the the gear really good and not to noisy as well.

I've heard close ratio is better for avoiding lag

It whines through all the gears, the noise is low level as well. Driving back today I didn't hear nothing inside the car when you get to 70 mph. Remote control car would sum up the noise perfect.
