  • Anyone use adjustable track arms?

    ....like this?

Quite fancy doing these on my car but wonder if anyone else has done it to their road car and what they think of them.

I have them on mine as I do a few track days so they can be adjusted to suit.

as for just using them for fast road driving, why not, they can be adjusted so the car handles better.

Cool. Do you use them with the standard outer bushes in Dave?

Did they come poly bushed, or did you fit Powerflex ones or something?

I use those also and the car handles awesome. I put powerflex poly bushes in. There used to be 2 types, one made with a pattern tca and one made with a genuine ford tca. The gen ones were about £200 but last longer as the ball joints on pattern tca's are smaller.

Separately from the arms, or a set already fitted with Poly bushes?

Was it the Compbrake arms you've got, or a different brand?
                Cheers

yes Trev, you can use the ones for the tcas if you have them already.

yes, pretty sure they are the comp brake ones, not sure who does any other typed ones.

                  Dave.

I use them along with compression struts and a 6 degree MK beam. Amazing difference in handling after a full geo setup

Some of them seem to have a rose joint on the inside, and some just look like the standard track arm but with a section cut out to put the adjuster in. Which one's the best or the right one to go for?

Those were the ones I was thinking of Dave. What keeps them tight in the space on the cross member, as I assume the rose joint doesn't fill the whole gap?
