Just called up a company about a car for sale and politely said to the guy I won't mess him around I'm interested in the car but as I'm a cash buyer as I've sold my other car I don't really wanna pay what it's up for so what would be his lowest price.... I said the new models are about to be released so they should be dropping price,,, his reply was 'who told you that then genius' I bite my tongue...

He then replies and says well what do you wanna pay, I said well not to insult you tell me... He then insists I say so I offer 1k under asking price his reply is...

Well thanks for calling don't bother calling again....

my mate just spent 33 grand cah on a brand new merc and somthing went wrong with a sat nav cartridge and somthing else,he got fobbed off and not going anywhere with it then gets a call from merc uk who asks how he was with the experiance so he lets rip and complains, the next day he gets a call from the dealer principle who appologises and tells him to check his bank account and they had refunded a big chunk of moola.

lucky bastard always gets touches like that,he bought a brand new scirrocco for 17.5 grand dealer registered and kept it for 5 months and got his money back when he sold it, i'd of had it welded into me forever the ugly bastard thing

Car in question was 17k so I offered 16k which I thought was fair..... Clearly I was being offensive....

Thing is he's 3 hrs away so I wasn't traveling to then find out there's no movement....
