i brought this A team van off my friend for £4500!.. theres somthing wrong with the gear box hence the price, the gears all work but it makes a noise, vw quoated him £2500 worst case sinario fitting a new box so he,s brought a brand new ford custon instead & loves it!.. its got 110k incl electic pack, im going to pimp it when i get some spare money & get the gearbox fixed & decide whitch one to keep

Thought I fooked the gearbox on mine or dual mass flywheel but turned out to be the drivers side drive shaft had shat itself where it goes into gearboxthe bit where the drive shaft fits in gearbox is replaceable as there is a bolt inside that bolts into gearbox

Go and see Ed China off of Wheeler Dealers, he will fix the gearbox for 50p and not charge any labour!

Drivers side dummy shaft rusts and strips normal. Best repair is new dummy and new driveshaft. Easy hours work there then.
