  • Standard YB with EFR 7064 Turbo

    Hello

    This is a standard YB with a Aftermarket Ecu and BW EFR 7064 twin scroll,
    First graph is 1.8bar boost

    Second is same engine on 2.2bar

    So is that standard as in standard cams, head etc if so why would anyone need to do expensive engine work anymore that is crazy

      That's what standard means, The engine was rebuilt pre to standard spec.
      There is more in it as we were seeing 47c intake temp on dyno.

        So standard engine with a spec R cooler with this turbo setup is all that's needed nowadays then

            I have another I am doing and going to run 1.8bar on a stock cooler so will be really interesting to see that one, But it deff makes for a great package.

              Its on a Vipec but the next ones will be on the next Emtron version Ecu for the 4cyl engines,
              It is on 1000cc Injector Dynamics ones.

                  Lol that's what I was thinking but then these turbos weren't available back then so will be the newer guys that gain from this nearly 500 lbft is bloody good going and will make for a quick car

                      Correct I would recommend long studs with the higher boost, The 1.8bar graph I think is where its at on a completely stock engine.

                        BTW this engine is in a Pug 205GTI so prob 1000kg or max 1100kg.
