I lost the fuel pump feed on the way to Ford Fair last year and i've only just managed to have a look at it....would someone be able to tell me which of the relays is the fuel pump relay and does anyone have any photos of a board stripped showing where the solder fails

    Thanks Mark

    R9 brown Fuel pump

Mine failed also so with info from Mark Barber I used a small wire and got a 12v feed from near to the relay and trapped it to the correct pin(87) I think while re-inserting the relay.
    Now all is good.

you have 3 conections from the relay get a bit of wire and bridge 2 of them, with the ignition on you should get the pump to fire up you may have to move one end of the wire about. If it fires up then the box is knackerd so you had best buy a new one.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean there will be a energizer wire and earth then a feed (pin 30) and then 2 feeds out 87a and 87 are you saying join 30 and 87? Is the normal fault the energizing wire rather than the power supply to and from the relay??

i just thought the fault would have been on the load side of the circuit

          thanks
