Genuine RS500 intercooler

OMG. I think i have just bought a genuine RS500 intercooler, on Gumtree in OZ. Anyone here able to confirm this? here are some pics of it.

Doubt it, I'm pretty sure genuine ones are made by Behr. And it looks like your is made in October 1995, a bit late for a RS500

That is an original Ford one (but not one off an original RS500 car, which as stated were made by Behr).

Was going to say its a very good copy if it ain't! Iv seen that make ones before possibly for touring car?

WOW. I paid $100 for it just over 50 quid I am hoping to fit it to my track escos.
Is it possible to fit it to an escos if i fit the RS500 alternator lowering bracket. If i remember correctly one of the tubes is at the wrong angle. As its an original i dont want to cut it off. any pics of one fitted to an RS500 (engine bay pics) Maybe even get a custom made boost hose when its in there.

Probably better off selling it to the UK to the RS500 geeks , then using the hugely inflated sale price to pay for a custom Escos intercooler made of unobtainium that fits perfect with no messing around?

As Will says then get yourself a spec r cooler then charge temps won't be a prob

Seeing how cheaply you picked it up, just modify it - no need to be precious about it .
