What Oil

Hi guys

A few days ago there was a post about oil upon looking at the replies it seemed no one uses 5W50 full syn like i do.

What should I be using ??????

The car is a small turbo 51k totally standard.

The Ford manual says 5w50 Fully Synth. Providing its not using oil, maintains decent pressure when cold / hot & you can find a good quality oil I'd leave it alone.

I always check the oil level and has never used any since last oil change. As you say i have high oil pressure when cold and hot and I use*valvoline oil.*

At the mileage you are running, just switch to a 10w50 - job jobbed . I wouldn't run any Cosworth that wasn't brand spanking new on a 5w.
