  • Cars been undercover now for 2 weeks

OK I have to admit, after only 2 weeks of the ESCOS being under the fitted cover nice clean and polished for the winter, I have such a strong urge to get it back out.
I'm not joking either, I'm being deadly serious, I want to uncover it again and start her up. Almost ever day now I go over to the car and have a wee peek .Its almost a craving and its getting worse WTF When I could see the car ever day I was fine but now .
Who else has had this syndrome
Its going to be a long winter if I cant just forget about her

I felt exactly the same way Frank, that's why I just taxed it there and I've used it more this past few weeks than I have done all summer.

I say get it out, as long as there's no salt on the road I'm gonna use mine

Its not so bad for me as we smoke in the garage so I get to peak at it under the cover each day, although I've now blocked mine in and its going to be at least a month before I can get it out again, which is annoying as I've hardly used it this year

Glad it running well, that's one of the issues though isn't it, you put it away perfect and then cant help but go back out in it.

Good call, mines still fully taxed as well and I cant bring my self to SORN it just in case I get the chance to drive here again.

Agreed, I'm sure its highlighting a deeper hidden defect in my mental condition Its a Car FFS I can believe I'm so fixated on an inanimate object.

            HI Ben,
Your sort of lucky, but on the other hand your always having to see it as well and feed the craving to lift the cover .
Its the same for me, when the car was just in new Barn/ undercover area I could see it everyday as we came into the B&B as there are no doors on the structure and I was semi happy with the idea. Now all I see is a car cover in the shape of a Cosworth and I just have to lift the cover off and peek

At least it's not costing money while it's under the cover.
                Cheers

How is your camper getting on any ways.
I have just bought another 1972 Westie for hire. Should be completed and ready to go by the end of this year.
