Tech Article - clutch cable boss thing ???

Hi guys I think im missing something for securing my clutch cable shown by arrow below does anyone know where I can get one or a better picture of one so I know what im looking for all I have ia a hole in the bulk head with a tiny hole ethier side

I've a Small Turbo and there is no, secure thinks. Only pedal and Clutch.

its a plastick piece and a rubber part on cable goes in it as Thomps on here

Hi guys ive looked and tried to show what ive got and its got to have been altered or mines a different style set up check pictures below...
Brand new cable and my bulk head hole the white section of the cable nearly fits through the bulk head hole is like about 28 mm and the cable is 15mm and 30mm ish...
with there being two tiny holes ethier side of the big hole this indicates that I feel there must be some sort of adaptor or securing ring or device etc etc

There should be a metal/rubber gromit type thing there. You can just see it in this pic of my Saff.

Hi guys im still missing something here ive got nowt to secure the outer part of the cable against can someone advise what im actually missing please is there not a angled tube or something or have I got the wrong cable maybe ???

what you have is an oval piece of metal that has two screws like the pics of above, it also have a rubber grommit as in the pics

there is a metal tube that comes through this but this tube is welded to the pedal box inside the car, and the clutch cable slides into the tube

in your pics you havent got the pedal box in hence the clutch cable cant be secured lol, as it needs to go into the pedal box then attach to the plastic ratchet, thats the only way its gonna hold there

Argh right well mine has a 909 motorsport pedal box and hasn't got the bit in question fitted at all as it used to run hydraulic clutch see, bollox

then you need a hydraulic clutch kit or a standard pedal box, which are the same as a sierra anyhow same with that oval ring and grommit

bollox just fitted all the pedal box and dual master cylinders Saturday as well
