  • 2wd exhaust manifold

Anyone on here who has an LHD Escort, and runs a modded 2wd exhaust manifold (trouser pipe) for ext. Wastegate? Is there enough space because of the bulkhead/plastic cover? Need to know before i'm going to buy one or search for any tubular items.
    Any help would be great

Engine bay should be the same as saphs, so if it fits on saph than it should on escort.
LHD escort should have more space on that side than RHD because there is no abs pump there.
Bulkhead and its plastic cover should be simetric so no (big) difference LHD or RHD.

dunno if you read it wrong or have i asked my question the wrong way

here are pic´s for example (i´ve marked it yellow) the plastic trim on the LHD car look´s much closer then the brake reservoir on the RHD. I´d be safer if someone has fitted one.

      thanks

The brake system is placed in the other side and there is plenty of room for the manifold.
Ive been using both 2wd and 2 diff PeterG manifolds without problems

Probably depends on what wastegate you are using, there isnt much room...
The one in the picture is a Turbosmart Hypergate 45 IIRC.

You are the MAN, thanks for the pic.
I´ll be using a tial v44, should be nearly the same.
As close as it is, sure it´ll melt the platic cover cover then
Will look for other options then......
