How rare is the Escort RS Cosworth?

You do not see them on the road anymore (Escort) and it would lead you to think they are ultra rare cars with not many numbers left.

Well here are a few cars that currently have less numbers on the road or sorned than the Escort

1: BMW E36 M3 Evolution
around 1000 left on the road

2: Pretty much all the Lancer Evo Range
Numbers as high as 500 and as low as 70

3: Audi RS2
Only 88 remaining sorned and taxed

4: The whole Delta Integrale range
Combined around 320 cars left

5: The whole Escort RS2000 range from the MK1 to the MK6

6: Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth
Under 600 cars remaining

I think all the sapphire,s have been pulled apart for escort or 3 door sierra,s
1084 escorts are left as said by davecos 4x4

Incorrect

The E36 M3 3.0 was made in even lesser numbers than the Evo. Only 200 or so 3.0 saloons were made and sold in the UK and very few convertibles.

The Evo was the big seller and it seems not many of them left anymore.

The Sapphire I believe includes 2wd and 4x4

I think there was more orignal Sierra Cosworths than the Sapphire

productionnumbers is, litle over 5000 3 doors, and around 25000 4door saloon(saph) 13000 2wd 12000 4x4...

the e36 evo is this al the 3.2? i dont remember this but didnt think it was called evo... over here the evo is Limited and the normal is many of... not extremly many offcourse but there has been a few..
