  • Cleaning engine bay and underside without water

As title - I'm currently removing the engine and gearbox from my car. The engine bay's filthy - a mix of oil and general muck. The underside also has a few areas of surface rust.

So I want to clean up the engine bay, and clean / degrease the underside so I can take a wire wheel to the worst rusty areas and slap on some treatment (plan on doing a proper underside resto in due course so this is only temporary to stop things getting worse). Car's in the garage so I can't use my normal jizer and rinse off method. What's best to use? Panel wipe on a cloth?

    Cheers
    Dave

Baby wipes also work very well for lighter cleaning
