Stack oil pressure

Gone to change the guage in the car for a stack but the oil feed pipe doesn't want to go on very easy its a real tight fit almost feels like the threads are not the same but lining them up it looks identical



Any ideas could it be ones impirial and the others metric but very similar?

Had a pitch guage on them and they both seem to be almost identical but like I said when I go to put the metal hose fitting in the stack its tight as fook

Should be the same mate, but if in doubt, take gauge down to a local engineers or somewhere you can buy new nut and olive to fit on.

could be 1/8 npt and 1/8 bsp fittings (one's tapered and gets tighter as you thread it).

Yep it will just feel tight sooner.
