Any tips on fitting a new kit pls peeps?
Anything else I should replace at the same time, or any specialist tools I'll be needing?

i'll be fitting the fronts next weekend hopefully (or do the whole lot next weekend if its proper cold this weekend!) - assume for that its just standard spring compressor thats needed? (got new top mounts / bearings, and polybushes too)

Nope , easy just two bolts . Might need a little of a wiggle to get the tops out as the turrets sometime pinch arou d the shock top a little. If your changing springs it gets a little more involved tho...
Dropping the beam a couple of inches and maybe getting a shaft out the way , bit of a pain but not the end of the world.

As you say spring clamps for the front.

P.s good to see your still lurking around here Rich

One spring clamp on a rear spring mixed with a bar and some roughness works for me. Just be careful that you don't fuck a brake pipe / drop link though

bloody typical it being more difficult if I want to change springs too! oh well.. looks like it'll be a next week thing as i'm not doing it outside the garage tomorrow given what the weather's going to be like!
Oh- and always lurking mate you guys can't get rid of me that easily... Have been told by Clare not to get rid of the car...

Darren - is it easy to change drop links @ the same time? - worth replacing whilst I'm there?
        bolts too - replace?

        Cheers

Piece of piss, especially if the old ones are worn. Put some spunk on the new ones though and they'll slip right on
