its ok mark mines white as well, all these yrs and i never realised
i dont take etis seriously just use it as a guide,ive used it before for specs of cars and its always wrong

if you look under the bonnet on alot of fords especially older ones they arnt painted under the bonnet to save on costs and materials aspen is the white colour that ford painted auralis cars 1st alot wre also black

thanks .mark and nick ... i thought this might be the case . that these were the colour of the shells before being shipped to karmen .. and ford never updated there data base ..think i might email FORD to see if i can get mine updated
