  • Waxoyling tips

So I'm gonna give my sills and under my bumpers a good waxoyling soon but was just looking for some tips as this is something I've never tried before.

Is it just a matter of spraying it onto the surface and leaving it or does it require a couple of coats or whatever

Also I was online looking at the different types of waxoyl available, they come in either a spray can or you can buy a 5 litre drum with like a sprayer device separate, which one would be best for the job?

Any advice would be most helpful

    Thanks

i used bilt hamber dynax on the inside of my sills m8, which comes in a 750 aerosol and a handy lance which fits through the holes in your sills once your clips have been removed. warm the can up a little and block the holes in the cill lips so it doesnt run out and spray it in. leave it over night to soak in, it is quiet runny stuff but even better for getting into them sills.

also dont forget to unblock the drainholes in the sills when youve done,a feeler gauge is ideal for that
i used the waxoyl stuff,in the drum and the pump to pressurise it
