How often do you start your car over winter?

probably the worst thing to do if your car lives in a normal unheated garage, moisture and condensation will form in oil if heated/cooled...... and if the car dont move worst ever..

i just new someone would say that it seems the consensus is its best to put it on optimate and forget about it over winter period, i'll do that from now on then

An engine is under more stress at idle than at 2000rpm.

That's why when I fire up a brand new engine with all new bits, it get sat at 2000rpm for 15 minutes.
