Pretty shit to be fair mate, he still insisted it wasn't down to mapping even once the car was there, but did say that he felt he was in some way at fault,

The damage was a few burnt valves and 2 damaged/melted pistons, he said he had these and would supply these FOC but I had to pay for the rest off the parts head gasket, valves, belt etc and he would do the labour , so I was expecting a £300 bill tops which was I wasn't to bothered about,

By the end off when my car was ready he told me my final bill where i nearly fell over!! which to be fair would be good considering the work that was done but pretty shit seeing as i think he was at fault, as 86 miles earlier I had just paid £500 to have it mapped and fully checked and setup by Sitech

Simon is still not sure what caused the problem he said it was down to an ignition hot spot, or the chargecooler pump on its way out

Iv sine refurbed the chargecooler pump with new bushes, added a pro alloy charge cooler rad, I'm going to change the fuel pump aswell, then ill get the afr and car checked over on the rolling road just to be safe

If you have done your homework on ign retard for air temp when mapping if the pump failed you would loose power on boost and you can also reduce boost for airtemp,
So someones homework must be missing on the mapping if this caused the problem.
