Scissor ramps/lift

Has anybody used or has got one of those mobile scissor ramps/lifts? Are they any good and can the escort and sierra cosworths fit on them ok?

is that as high as they go? you would need to be a pygmy or it would kill your back stooping down low enough

Think I prefer the look of the scissor lifts much more smaller and compact.

I've not got one or used one - but I think the biggest issue with them is you get very little access to the central underside part of the car - so I'd imagine removing the exhaust system / propshaft etc would be impossible. Guessing you'd get reasonable access to underside of engine bay though. Also don't think they lift the car that high.

Depends what you want to use it for really? I'm planning an underside resto so don't think one of these would work very well for that. They are compact though so if space is an issue they're probably quite useful.

I looked into these but decided to dig a pit instead! It has its downfalls to tho
