  • Performance driving courses

Hi folks This is a link for my dad's website,he's now offering this course too along with other courses which include:

Decision Driving, Defensive Driving, Advanced Driving, Eco-Driving on-road courses and interactive theory workshops,Trailer Training Courses also available

He's been teaching driving since I was an egg, taught me to drive his land rover off road when I was eight years old stop, start changing gear etc. not just steering the wheel!.Here's a testimonial from a ferrari owner

    High Performance Course

Spent the day with Roy in a Ferrari 550 Marenello. I needed to ensure that I could not only drive the car to its full potential but safely as well. By the end of the day I was driving in a way that I hadn't thought I would ever be able to do.

When the car comes out now on sunny and dry days it is an event which I really look forward to. I am now a much better driver and would recommend Roy to anyone who wants to get the best from themselves and their car.

Yakki da butt, i'd get a decent video camera and do some clips from the back chair of your Old Butt running through things whilst someone is driving,i'm certain theres lads on here (and the odd moaning chick lol) who would love to see what its about butt !!!!!

i'm guessing he's a advanced driver possible instructor and may have specialist constabulary or military driver training

Id prefer a course on the lines of blue light training.

if its good enough for the emergency services and military then its more than good enough for us.

sure how to go through red lights or weave through traffic isnt that relevent to us, but the rest of it on reading the road and getting from A to B as quickly as possible while minimising risk is very relevant. Including stuff on exceeding speed limits "safely". With the type of performance car many of us drive, it would be niaive to assume we always 100% stick to the speed limits when going for a thrash down the lanes and as we all know, speed limits are a compromise made by the authorities to fit most situations. It would be good to have the training to know when the risk is low enough to exceed the speed limits relatively safely.

            Medically Discharged!! Officially insane!!!

My Dad is a class 1 (I think its called) Police Driver and was qualified to teach and pass students on advance driving shame I don't talk to him as his become a driving instructor in retirement and my Mrs is learning to drive

Would love to have more advance driving lessons

He's ROSPA certified gold which means he's up there with the best of them. He's not one of these who blames everything on speed but uses common sense and it's really refreshing, it's shocking what you don't see on the road done two hours with him over crimbo and drove my car more safely and quicker than before.Even tried it out on the 483 cocker
