Im sure something wasnt right with your beam andy, but just because there was 15mm from side to side differant in the wheel base is nothing to worry about, manufacturers do build cars like that, hence why alignment can only be set up correctly starting from the rear, hence measuring thrust line deviation.

Iain I was going to fit a beam to your car but after talking to Wenny, he reconned when he had a beam on it he noticed very little change that car drives very tight the way it is.

Possibly mark. But for the man who made it to set it up to the same settings that my current one is on suggests to me that something isn't quite tickety boo.

I replaced all the bushes on my saff including the rear trailing arms with the GGR bushes and that improved it greatly

be a cheaper option just to renew all the bushes on your beam Iain IF you are unhappy with it.

The GGR bushes are circa £65 each iirc along with powerflex poly rear beam main bushes

That's what's on my saff, fitted with new konis and springs. And it was a different car

The car already has poly bushes on the rear, koni's ,ahmed springs and a poly diff mount.

I have an ahmed 6deg beam on mine, best handling mod I've made.
Definitely feels more planted, turns into corners without that nervousness i felt the car had before, and feels much more secure carrying speed through and out of corners, I have alot of fun driving it now, didn't before.

How many people actually got their car set up properly using a 4 wheel laser align system with floating beds? It's impossible to do it properly without this kit unless you spend days doing it!As Markk says, with so much adjustment front & rear, it is very easy to make your car drive terribly without trying hard at all!

Will, I hear what your saying.

But it was Danny that set mine up, surely he should of been able to tell me he couldn't do it in the day. He was doing it for 8 hours. And charged accordingly

Standard - happy but thought I could improve

Adrenaline - fitted and set up by Danny, along with tca's, it was horrendous, I didn't even want to drive the car, completely fell out with it, my wheel centres were 15mm different, my osr wheel sat pissed in the arch. Looked like my car had been in crash. Not at all happy.

Scs - took car for one of there beams. Picked it up and drove the car home and wow! But I can only compare this to my adrenaline beam as it had been 18 months since driving a std 4x4 escort.

Car does feel more planted, also fit ahmeds springs at the same time.

By all means get a beam, but order from Ahmed/Scs

Adrenaline no go, and there are several people that I have spoke to that feel the same.

Cheers andy that's exactly the feed back I'm after!

Yeah as Neil said it already has poly bushes koni/Ahmed, but I don't like the stance off my car on them sits too low at the back and too high at the front IMO I'll be changing to coilovers I may change to the ggr bushes to but I don't want too loose comfort and for my teeth to be rattling together when driving the car lol

If you don't notice a difference your only using your car in a straight line, 4x4 cars less so than 2wd but the turn in is greatly improved and they feel alot more planted. It's stops all of the geometry changes through compression and rebound and stops the 'snap back' when holding a slide. They are very good!

Jimbo I'm guessing every beam has to be setup to suit each car? I can just buy 1 pre-set and you post it up? I hate being 400 miles away
