After losing Ty we decided we were going to get another dog, we just didnt know when.
However after some puppies my friend had for sale, we had no interest in them. Just didn't feel anything
So we decided to visit the local rescue centres as we got Ty from the Staffie Rescue. And that's where we met Tank, we took him for a walk up the woods and he was great on the lead and very well behaved,which left us with the heartache of deciding to get him then or wait awhile.....
He'd been there since January after originally coming in with his brother Bomber. They tried to rehome them together, but two 2 year old Staffies is probably too much for most. Bomber got rehomed two months ago leaving poor Tank on his own.
They called on Saturday to say we could take him home if we wanted. We both agreed we didn't want him to spend another night there when we had an empty home ourselves.
