  • swapping a T34.48 to a T34.63

Might be able to do this deal with someone and not sure if its worth it?

    Will i see more power?

    Thanks

From the threads I've read on here and Passionford the advantages are bigger with the .48 than the .63.
A little less power, but more responsive and reliable..

J1mbo can probably tell you more

48 will have better low down power and be on full boost sooner but the 63 can make 400 bhp if it has the rest to back it up but for the road and a more normal spec think the 48 would be best plus much less lag

Or go for a .55 housing for the best of both worlds.

Mines a .48 and it is running roughly 365bhp the last time it was checked. Don't know what it is now as the turbo is now a roller ball and has very little lag.

Did you notice a big difference changing over to the RB internals Mr Hales?

Yes mate. I don't like lag and this reduced it to a minimum. Spins up on boost alot smoother too.

                        I would like a .63 housing. Could prob exchange for a .55?

                          Sounds favourable

                          Big costs involved?

Must admit it wasn't cheap. But I had just totally knackered the original and there wasn't many useable parts from it.

But Dave Pritchard (Cossiedavid) got me a good deal.

you are just swapping housings and not complete turbos, reads as though your swapping the lot over lol.
