Took my Escort in today for a check up and bit of a service. Cant fault his team of guys, the car is running great! 100 miles done today in rain and shine and I must say I enjoyed every one of them, I think im getting the love back after last years engine disaster. Marks hands stayed suspiciously clean whilst the car was being worked on today though, im sure he is taking supervising to another level!!!

Theres just something about a bright red, brash and loud Escort Cosworth that makes people stare and even photograph as im driving it around.

Im in love with it again.

I really did enjoy my drive today, i use the A50 which is a fast road and the Escort felt right at home being thrown into the islands and powering out. It's been a while but it just felt so planted and the engine, thanks to Mark and team again, after the rebuild last year was smooth as silk. I'm actually looking forward to the 90 mile drive to the pod on Saturday now.
