Where does this go???

It's a bulb and lights up when I turn my lights on, it's in the same wiring as the fag lighter. I though it went in the ash tray but can't find anywhere for it to go.

Sure it clips just above ashtray fellaThere should be a grove for holder to slot into

Yep defo above ashtray as done mine about a month ago

Yep, pull the ashtray out and it clips to the centre console so when you open the ash tray it lights it up

DEFO 100% ashtry and cig lighter,the bulb goes into the back behind the ashtry in the console and other 3 wires are for the lighter

I must have something missing because I have the console out and can't find a place to fit the bulb.

Right fella ya see the bit on top of the lamp holder that slots into a grove in consoleTake ashtray out and it's inthe centre above ashtray hole. Run ya finger along and you should feel slot for the bit on lamp holder to slot intoThe bulb doesn't slot in fella

does the bulb just sit behind the metal flap off the asytray? ive just been out n can see a grove out when ive took the asy tray out but where does the actual bulb go?

Here is a picture of the console with the ashtray out. There's nothing there but a v shape hole.
