mark i no you use spec r coolers alot .

can you tell me what size of a spec r intercooler is needed for a cosworth track/ race car with 711 hp and also is there any need for the use of water injection with the spec r intercoolers .

    thanks steven

Steve there is a few different sizes. Dimensions 24" x12" x3.5" or same but 4" deep and same again but even deeper iirc, biggest one you can get in steve is what you want. Shouldn't be a need for w/I but we can always put it in the t6 2000 just incase

i think there is plenty of room ok jim , i need pete to supply me the cooler made up less the pipe work to the inlet and turbo welded in place . domanic will work out what bends and pipe work is needed and if pete supplys it with cooler we can have it welded in place over here ,
its very hard to get the cooler fitted and have pipe work in the correct place with out pete haveing the car .

domanic has a chap that can tack the pipe work in place on site and take it away to weld up.

jim what size pipe work is used from cooler to inlet and cooler to turbo.

      thanks steven

dave have you yours fitted yet any photos .

the good thing about the spec r coolers are theres room some times for the cone filter to sit on top of it and get direct air into it ..

            thanks steven

spoke to pete at spec r , today. i had sent him a text satuarday not to expect a reply to monday and he text to day saying give him a phone if i wanted , what a nice chap so so help full , he was even working today , says he works 7 days per week.

well the intercooler is no problem for him to sort . he needs the size between the chassi legs and the size from the top of the pipe on my inlet to the bottom of the grill on the front bumpber along with a few photos and he says thats enought for him to make it all up . only thing i will need to do is get the mounting brackets welded on .

the size of the cooler i need is 24 inches wide around 31 inches with the ends fitted around 18 inch high he thinks from doeing one in jullian godferrys car and 3.5 inch deep .

all yous boys are so luck liveing in uk as yous can all take your cars to have them custom fitted at spec r.

                  thanks steven

why has Adams one taken 6 months then.

hopefully he can keep up with his workload.
