BMW has it as a concept car and we are driving it around.
There is a guy over here having G-power compressor powered m3 with 700+ HP. It was firstly Hamann engine tuned and full bodykit and after he went for G-Power.
Now he fitted the widest body kit, I think one of IND kits and painted it chrome. I think the rears are something like 11.5x20 or so.
All the work did my friend that is doing a resto on my Escos.
I don't like it but it has the most expensive components for m3 that money can buy and it is used as everyday car!!!
Here are some pics
is it some sort of paint then? theres a guy round here with a chrome audi,i assumed it was a chrome effect wrap or something?
I've never seen painted or heard of one except "ours", all other chromes are wraped. Even paint producer that supplied the paint said it is the first car he knows for. There was whole drama painting it because the way of doing it is unique and requires special tools and you cann't polish the paint after. As I understood if you need to paint just one part you cann't get same shade and as you can see from the pics a car must be painted as a hole to get fluid color and same effect allover. I don't understand it well, actually I am not interested but know it is almost impossible to do it right and it is too expensive.
I think the paint, few liters of it needed for that car was 4000 Euro.
i was just thinking that the cost of it must be horrific - some of those flip paints are 350pounds a litre. its not my cup of tea but you do need to take your hat off to the painter for not making an arse of it!
