  • Transport for escos

So i have been thinking about my escos and how im going to get it to and from the track...

firstly i dont really have the room for another BJames trailer and they are not cheap, think my last one was £1500... also i would then need a vehicle to tow it meaning more TAX, MOT, Insurance ect ect... i have been toying with the idea of a recovery truck but again the length of it is a bit long for where i live... what im thinking is ai could kill 2 birds with one stone and get a flat bed Twin wheel truck can use this for going to work in and for other business purposes and just get some long ramps made that hook on the back that i can use when i want to transport the car to and from track days.....

anyone know the length of an escos front to back and even better would be front to the very rear of the back tyres...

yeah drive it to and from track....

anyway i wont want to dmage my new splitter that will only be .5 of an inch from the ground

Escort Cosworth (Lux edition) Kerb weight 1,320 kg

                550hp divided by 1320kg = 416 BHP Per Ton

                420hp divided by 1000kg = 420 BHP per Ton

lets hope my cars not to light and my engines not much more than 420hp eh....

Don't see the problem with driving it to and from track.
I've been doing it for three years with 450bhp and I've got 400miles to drive, it's then abused for three days before I drive 400 miles back home.
