Are these modifications im planning wise?

Hi Everyone

Rite im planning on a few more mods soon and not sure if the car will take it so any feedback on what you guys are running would be great..

Right current spec is -

Completely standard engine internals
T34 turbo
Omex 710 engine management
750CC Injectors
RS500 style intercooler
breather kit
swirl pot
uprated fuel pump
big brakes
Ive missed loads off but these are the main things concerned

Planned mods -

Bigger turbo
better cams
head porting
group A head gasket
and a few other bits

Im hoping for about 400-420bhp

Now my main concerns are..

Will my gearbox and diffs explode? lol
Can the standard bottom end pistons etc tke this power?

I dont drive like a lunatic but occasionally drive reasonably hard, car never goes on the track or gets run at pod.

You won't get 420 from that turbo, 400 is pushing its luck and will give up eventually as it's being over sped at the boost levels you have to run

yeah that turbo is going, i currently tun 1.7 bar on the t34 made 327bhp on the dyno and sometimes run 2 bar which made 356bhp but that is rare as i dont want to blow the turbo up haha

What cams as some cams you need valve pockets though id just change the inlet to a abo7 camand have isky springs installed

haven't really decided, how much are they?

Standard cams are fine for that power. Ideal for response. A gt3071 would be ideal and fit on the standard 4x4 manifold. Bottom end would be fine at that power so long as its been looked after but the box and diffs will be on borrowed time.

i have a t38 stage 3 for sale & grey injectors would take u over 400bhp with ease
