My Mum and son went to the Apple store today with my iPhone 4 as the bottom button has become an arse to press and really has been pissing me off. Anyway, after being sent away from the store as she needed to make an appointment she went back this morning with my son to speak with Apple on my behalf as I cannot get to the store with my health issues.

Got a phone call just now saying the Apple bloke has straight swapped the phone for a new one, even though it was 2 months out of warranty

I didn't think they would swap it, but had faith in Apple as I heard of them swapping items, even out of warranty before. So, Im well chuffed to have a brand new iPhone 4 on its way to me this afternoon

They changed a laptop for me that was 3 months out of warrenty after ongoing problems with it.

My son and Mum just got back, so restoring the phone with all my stuff I really didn't think they would change it and I was gonna have to get an iPhone 5, but now I may just keep the 4 as its brand new

I don't know another company that would just swap it over

When I had my 1st PS3 it broke 2 months out of warrenty and I guess it was for the bin! Phoned Sony in Belgium or Holland and they sent another to me within a week (took the broken one back though!! )
