  • MK2 FRS anyone own one?

Having a mad moment and just wondering how anyone finds the Mk2 Focus RS compared to the , it wouldn't be an everyday car incidentally...

    Cheers

I woulnt sell my Es cos no. The focus gets used a lot though, lot more than the Es cos, but the nifty side of me won't use it when it's raining. Lol

The frs 2 is a great car. Imo you can't compair them with a car that is nearly 20 years old. I love m both but i dare say the frs is my favorite. I'd sell my Escos first if one car had to go.

The focus is a good car for every day use but it does not compare to a escort for one front wheel drive and i can not believe how much they are dropping 24k on for around £17000plus which is a good thing but not for some one that has just paid 25k for

stands to reason when they are say 7-8 year old they will be worth 6 grand with 80k up them, theres only one way the values of series 2 focus rs's are going and thats down the kermitt

once they get to say 6g's they won't drop much more if they are tidy and sensible miles though so i'd say a mk1 is the better car from a depreciation stand point

I own an mk2 FRS. Use it as my everyday car.

It is an excellent all round car and wouldn't be without it now.

I have had 2 and dont get me wrong i enjoyed it and not trying to put them down but when you look they are dropping faster then the mk1 frs did which is a big put off and i dont like fords warranty because they are a load of shit i had a seat which was dropping on one side and it only had 10k on and they wanted £1800 to replace the car was just over 1yr old and the front tyres was bald on the inside of both front tyres and when i done another 500 mile the tyres did it again so i thought time to get rid

I loved my escort and now have a mk2 focus
The escort is very different to the focus
As the escort will hold it's value better but for me the time was right to move on I know I will lose money on my Mk 2 but at the same time I am going to use the focus much more than I did the escort
I will probley regret selling it but I have just blown it all and more on a holiday home for the family to use so I am broke now but I am looking forward to spending more time with my kids and misses in are new place
But the focus is a great car but it does have it's problems but it does it all

I sold my escos to buy a Focus RS after driving SITECH RACINGS demo car

theres no comparison for me, i love the Focus , great car , ticks all the boxes

I bought a car with LUX 1 and LUX 2 in green, and ive had the car now for 4 months, and its still fantastic to drive
